My name is Christel, and I’m an artist with a simple mission: to celebrate the beauty of the ocean through art.
The story of an ocean lover missing the beach
The ocean has always been a place of joy and peace for me. As a child, I would spend hours playing in the waves and building sandcastles on the beach. I can’t explain it, I’m just drawn to the water’s edge.
But for the past few years, I’ve been living in a landlocked city. And while I’m grateful for the opportunities that have come my way, I can’t help but miss the ocean.
So, I decided to bring the ocean to me. I started painting seascapes and ocean scenes, and it was like a piece of the beach was transported into my home.
Now, every time I look at one of my paintings, I feel like I’m right back at the water’s edge. And even though I’m not currently living by the sea, I know that it’s never far from my heart.

I believe in authenticity and craftsmanship, and that art should be one-of-a-kind.
Mass-produced, machine-made art just doesn’t have the same soul as something that’s been lovingly created by hand.
Each of my paintings is a labor of love, crafted with care and attention to detail, and lovingly created just for you.

My standard size paintings (up to 70×100 cm) come framed and ready-to-hang, so once they arrive at your home, there isn’t anything else needed but finding room to display them proudly.
Just find a spot on your wall, hammer in a nail, and hang your new artwork up.
